Crossy
What do the instructions say? If the it's a 'pigtail' coming from the heater (I'm assuming a water heater), pop the lid off the heater and look at the other end, the terminals should be marked. Green will be ground. The others L and N, unless there is some marking otherwise it matters not which way round to connect those.
jj79
Hi Crossy. Is there some way to contact you outside of the forum. I have a few questions regarding an electrical installation for a condo in Chiang Mai and was hoping for some advice or maybe a contact who could consult on it. My email is email removed per forum rules. If are able to drop me a line would be much appreciated!

serendipityfox
thanks xylophone you are correct. i studied the wire diagrams and the shower itself, then went to the shop to triple check and they showed me the blind side of the terminal block was in fact labelled. It was useful training to study the diagrams.
