PATTAYA: Thanks to a Ladyboy returning home after spending the night on Walking Street, a 30 year old suspected bag snatcher was arrested by Nongprue Police early on Friday Morning after being suspected of taking the bag from an elderly female jogger from Finland.

The incident occurred in a remote road off Soi Siam Country Club, just before 8am. Mrs. Anneli Javinek aged 74 from Finland was out for her regular early morning jog when she encountered the suspect, Khun Winai aged 30, who pulled up beside her on his motorbike.

He lunged towards the 74 year old and snatched her bag but the brave woman put up a fight and managed to take the suspects motorbike key which was thrown into a nearby field, preventing him from driving away.

A crime fighting ladyboy, sounds like an oxymoron. Anyway well done!

I was thinking well done the old lady, fighting him off and taking his motorcycle key.

I must say I sort of admire her for putting up a fight but she could have been injured badly. I would not endanger myself in similar situation. Not that I carry anything of value in my shoulder bag anyway.

I hope the perp gets what he deserves.

OK, an early morning walk, I just can't imagine anyone going for a jog in that dress.

Well done to the lady-boy for giving assistance. They are usually on the wrong side

of the law. thumbsup.gif

A 74 year old lady stops him and a honest lady boy helps her subdue the 30 year old Thai punk. But picture shows five police officer arresting him. If there was a reward i guess the police would get it! Do not mess with 74 year old Finish ladies you scum!

I don't see anything funny with that. Me and quite a many Thais - as far as I can see - carry all kinds of male shoulder bags with them. They are designed for male and different from the ones ladies use. You can google it if you are otherwise unable to understand what I am talking about.

Here is one example. http://www.yearsbag.com/621/leather-shoulder-bag-mens-male-messenger-bag.jpg

In this country its hot climate makes it impossible to wear a jacket in the day, so a bag for carrying phones, wallets, keys etc. is a must as far as as I am concerned ........

Fortunately I don't have any problems worrying about what others think......what is practible is more important

Good on the LB for helping out........
