Walls Ice Cream got a picture (somehow) of my daughter when she was about 2 (she's now 14) and they're using it in some sort of advertising campaign.

Looks like a studio photo. If so, maybe the photographer sold it to them? They may well have retained the copyright.

What do you want, compensation or the removal of the photo?

Either way, try to get a good lawyer and go for it.

A company like Wall's would very likely be intimidated by the threat of a negative publicity campaign.

I can't see even a good lawyer doing much in this case - the rights were likely signed away long ago.

Simple solution id go for, ask em for ..................free ice cream for life!!!!

How did you discover the photo and where is your version being advertised?

But it`s horizontally the opposite of your photo. Very strange, something doesn`t add up?
