PHUKET: Municipality workers were able to quickly extinguish a restaurant fire on Taweewong Road in Patong this morning.

A firetruck and three water trucks put out the flames in about 5 minutes, Patong Municipality Fire Department Officer Sampawat Wannasangkam told the Phuket Gazette.

The fire started in the kitchen of Chabadang at about 10am. The structure incurred only minor damages.
