Chachoengsao to Trat w/Line 638 Anyone?

Featured Replies

Hey guys...

Been doing some research and it seems there's a way to get from Chachoengsao to Trat...

It's a shot in the dark, might be worth it though - has anyone ever done it? or has anyone ever taken the 638 phetprasert line to Trat from Bangkok and passed through?

Quite hard to understand the timetable from the Phetprasert website and the thai @ the counter said its leaving Chachoengsao every hour towards Trat (which seemed a bit too good...)

So yeah, any tips fellas? thanks a lot...

What time does the first bus leave from Chachoengsao, how long does the journey to Trat take? etc etc...

Much appreciated.

I took a Bus from Elkamai Bangkok to Trat in April, and it stopped in Chanthaburi only.

It didn't stop in Chachoengso. Perhaps no passengers?

Absolutely, no passengers

I've ended up getting a minivan from to Rayong from Chachoengsao's Bus station (right infront of Big C) there's one that leaves every hour.

Then had a Direct minivan from Rayong to Trat.

A LOT of time (7 - 8 hours) spent as the minivans stop EVERYWHERE (Pattaya, Chantaburi,etc...)

Next time gonna fly instead smile.png
