Tourist Visa Requirements At The Thaiembassy In Singapore

Featured Replies

My situation: german guy, 35, stay in Thailand the last 2 years first with tourist visa the last 4 month VOA.

I want to apply now for a tourist visa in Singapore.

What are the requirements (like return ticket to my home country or money).

It is possible that they deny to give me even a tourist visa because I stayed the last 2 year in Thailand?

Somebody tried to get a visa after the 1. of october?

Best regards

Marc

Believe people are still getting visas regardless of history but they may mark your visa as suspect for future applications or not to be issued again.

Friend of mine got only 30 day Tourist Visa with remark "This person is living in Thailand for 2 Years now!" (or so, can't remember the exact wording) in Singapore mid September.

BTW, he was always on Tourist Visas, never on 30 Days, and usually stayed 1 to several weeks abroad (Japanese wife living in Japan) each Visa application.

I believe Singapore is not recommended as a place to apply for tourist visas if you've already spent a lot of time in Thailand. The Malaysian and Cambodian consulates are the most tourist visa friendly places to go.

What is better: Malaysia or Cambodia? How many entries for the tourist visa can I expect: 1,2 or 3?

Best regards

Malaysia should be better , but my understanding is that all Consulates/Embassies in the region give/issue only single entry visa.

Only @ Consulates/Embassies in your homecoutry you can get more entries.
