Featured Replies

The Russian defence ministry releases further footage purporting to show Russian ships in the Caspian sea launching cruise missiles, aimed at alleged Syrian militant positions.

The Russian military has launched at least 101 cruise missiles in the past four days, 18 of which came from the Caspian sea fleet.

The Defence Ministry claims a number of Islamic State oil facilities have been destroyed in recent strikes

Well done Russia, keep it up !

As long as they are targeting ISIS and not just rebels against Assad, then great work! Perhaps a change in tactics by Russia?

Cool! Made my day! (Up til now, anyway

Do you suppose they're working on the proposed CMRTTPTT (Cruise Missile, Real Time, Terrorist Profiling, Tracking and Targeting) upgrade?

But he added that "the majority of Russian air strikes are still against moderate Syrian opposition forces, which is clearly concerning, and those strikes are in support of the Syrian regime" of President Bashar al-Assad.

Meanwhile, Turkey has warned Russia that it must immediately stop bombing "civilian Turkmen villages" in Syria, close to the Turkish border.

The Russian ambassador to Ankara was summoned to the Turkish foreign ministry to hear the protest.

Why is it concerning? What gives the USA (mainly) and The UK the right to topple regimes at will?

Soon Russia will be the new America. Help my country has been invaded, who yer gunner call? Russia!

Perhaps because innocent civilians are being killed? What would your comment be if the US was the one doing this bombing of civilians? I don't think it would be a good comment.

The US has been trying to do targeted strikes at only ISIS which limit civilian casualties. Nobody seemed to like that approach....and now everybody seems to be upset the US didn't do more.

Go Raytheon.

Women and children would always be casualties when those brave terrorists hide under skirts...

Russia is not a world power any more.
