cmsally
The main post office is on Charoen Muang Rd near Railway Station. It also opens mornings on holidays/weekends if you need it. I find the most efficient one to be Phra Singh Post Office.
NancyL
I agree, the Pra Singh post office is very efficient, organized and never crowded. Conversely I didn't think that "post office" just inside Thapae Gate was a real post office. I thought it was some sort of contract parcel shipping business. It always looks like a disaster with packages out on the sidewalk. Numerous people have told me they deposited outoing letters and post cards there that never arrived at their final overseas destination.

davehowden
As a last resort you could always try looking at the Thai Post Office website? http://www.thailandpost.co.th/
jobin
I use the PO inside Kad Suan Kaew shopping mall. Very handy for me. On the ground floor, beyond the local market area.
