northernjohn
Suggest you look at the pinned list of doctors and medical. They all came highly recommended. I can't say if they have been updated. I my self use Doctor Morgan and if I need a specialist she will recommend one. Ram is the higher priced one and you may get the same doctor at Sripat. Most doctors work at several hospitals in addition to having their own clinic.

For GI problems not requiring surgery, I don't know but I'm sure someone might. Both Dr Morgan and Dr Tawachai would be a good place to start and they could refer the OP on if need be. Jskero
thanks everybody, but wouldn't it be a wasting time and money to go to GP doc at first and then GI (gastrointestinal) one versus GI directly?
Jskero
because Morgan and Tawachi are general practice docs
elektrified
I can recommend one from the pinned list from personal experience. Dr. Piset Pisetpongsa Sriphat Hospital 053 5394 6900/1 He's a gastroenterologist but not a surgeon as I recall. My wife was seeing him regularly for a while - a number of years ago. He was perhaps 35ish (at the time), had a good manner, spoke excellent English, and had good follow up. Dr. Morgan recommends one whose name I forget but he is a surgeon. uptheos made an excellent recommendation for a GI surgeon. I've seen him as well - but he is focused on surgery.
