Confusion over 'Gambling' closure at two Loy Krathong Temple Fairs in Pattaya



PATTAYA: -- Fair workers around Pattaya are in a state of confusion at the moment following a raid of two Temple Fairs which saw a number of stalls offering players a chance to win items, shut-down.

Police from Pattaya and Nongprue visited Fairs at the Boonganjanaram Temple in Jomtien and Kow Po Tong Temple in East Pattaya following “complaints” regarding the games, where players pay money for a chance to win toys and other low value items. None of the stalls offered players a chance of winning money.

Busting Temples now, how low. can we go.

The only complaint would have been by the BIB themselves because no tea money forthcoming.

What about the state run gambling, aka lottery? Very petty of them IMO.

seems odd tho to have a busy noisy market fair at a place where people go for peace and meditation, and i dont think they are short of cash

Some one needs to try and pick up the short fall in Thailand.

Temples do just that. not all are as lucky as us .
