ubonjoe
That depends upon the office where you have to apply for the extension. Some ask for witnesses instead of doing a home visit. After the first extension they are not normally done unless you move and apply at a new immigration office.
toots
Sounds like i will be ok this will be my 10th extension same address. Another thing do they say when they are coming because maybe you have gone on holiday for a few days or something.

JoeW
When I applied at Sakhon Nakhon for an extension of stay based upon marriage I had a witness with me. They also visited my home 7 days after I applied. They did check with me first if they could visit on that day. Very courteous officers working at Sakhon Nakhon. bunnydrops
In Korat, they seem to have stepped up the visits. The first time they called it was 8 at night. They wanted to have 2 neighbors be here for witnesses. I live in a village about an hour and fifteen minutes north of Korat. We told them everyone in the village was asleep (which is true around here), so they said they would come by next time they were in the area. When they came, about 4 days later, they told me they were visiting about 10 a day. I have had 3 extensions before, this was the first visit.
