English_M_in_Bkk
I have been looking for low fat/light coconut milk but can't find any in Bangkok - anyone know what shops stock it?
DogNo1
Not sure why you would want low-fat coconut milk. Have you read up on the benefits of full-fat coconut oil to your health?

SoiBiker
The low-fat stuff is rubbish. I'd rather just use less of the good stuff.
English_M_in_Bkk
I found Roi Thai light coconut milk - still uses coconut milk and not bran oil like the other light ones Was available at Maxvalu on Srinakarin, the one at Hua Mak. Thanks for the info on the other stuff

Yeah, I know...but what will be different on the cuisine. I never use low fat coconut milk, I am afraid it will make the cuisine taste different
notmyself
It will affect the texture for the most part rather than the actual taste. Dishes will be less silky to the palate , thin or watery. Imagine skimmed milk with your cornflakes. I don't use myself.
