Constitution Day - How Very Rich

Is any one else pondering the irony of an un-elected government arbitrarily adding a day to the constitution day holiday - while the constitution lies in tatters as it is being re-worked to serve their aims - with no concern for the added expense to business owners (especially small and medium) in favour of an event that that is little more than a populist attention grab and political PR event ?

or is it just me?
