Anti-Drug Trafficking Police, working with Sen Sok district police, picked up 42 suspected drug dealers – including four women – in a swift operation in Boeung Chhuk village on Sunday.

Officer Yem Davuth told Khmer Times that the operation was carried out by his police task force between 12 pm and 1 pm. As well as rounding up the 42 suspects, police seized one pack of white powder and several wooden sticks, knives and tools were seized, he said.

All the suspects were detained at the police commissariat and a file concerning this case is being made in order to send it to the court for further investigation.
