toppline584
Does anyone know of anyone who would like to take away around 60 litres maybe more of Used cooking oil. Free to anyone who will remove it. In or around the Khon Kaen area.
Crossy
Have a word with one of your local restaurants, we have a guy who removes used oil, the locals have sussed it will run the iron buffaloes. The oil man filters it, mixes it 50-50 with diesel and runs his old Nissan pickup on it, exhaust smells of fried fish. Ten years ago he was paid to remove it, five years ago he removed it free, now he pays for it
cooked
You can clean it using bleach and resell it as cooking oil. That's what they do in Bangkok.
NiwPix
If you were in Ubon I could give you a number for a "company" that picks up used oil. They pay roughly 200 Baht per 15-20 Liter.
keeniau96
Most diesels will run on almost any fluid, clean oil. More than once I have run out of diesel in my boat and eked out with cooking oil.
lonewolf99
95% cooking oil and 5% white spirit (paint thinner) = Diesel.
SantiSuk
Think I'll rebrand my Fortuner as a Sportolivio* then *For non-Brits 'Olivio' is a well-known brand of olive oil
Crossy
A post in ALL CAPS has been removed. Please don't post in all caps, it's difficult to read and is considered bad netiquette (shouting).
Thongkorn
95% cooking oil and 5% white spirit (paint thinner) = Diesel. except it clogs the injectors up and burns the rings and shells, Because it does not have any additive,
lostinisaan
95% cooking oil and 5% white spirit (paint thinner) = Diesel. except it clogs the injectors up and burns the rings and shells, Because it does not have any additive, First filtered, then mixed with 50 % Diesel oil, plus a small bottle of injector cleaner per tank wouldn't do a huge damage. NixPIx, you could give it a try that your customers can smell when you arrive......
