Thailand and Cambodia sign joint documents

BANGKOK, 19 December 2015 (NNT) - Thailand and Cambodia have today signed five documents of mutual benefit. Meanwhile the Prime Ministers of Cambodia and Thailand today co-chair the 2nd Thailand-Cambodia Joint Cabinet Retreat (JCR) at the Inner Santi Maitree Building, at Government House, in Bangkok.

This is only the second Joint Cabinet Meeting in 12 years, and it is focusing on bilateral and multilateral cooperation in addressing mutual concerns from all aspects, involving politics, economics and social needs.

The Cambodian and Thai premiers witnessed the signing of the five documents; the Joint Statement of the 2nd Joint Cabinet Retreat; a Loan Agreement on Construction of Stung Bot Cross Border Control Facilities and Access Road to National Road No. 5 Project, the Kingdom of Cambodia; a Memorandum of Understanding on Labor Cooperation and the Agreement on the Employment of Workers.
