hello..i am in bangkok now on holiday and was wondering if anyone could set me in the right direction..I am looking to buy BIG bag of durian chips to take back home for wife..Same big bags you see at the roadside stands on the highway to pattaya..Is there somewhere in bangkok i can find same? all i seem to be able to find are the smaller bags at around 250 baht apiece..was hoping big bag was better deal---and wife REALLY likes durian chip..lol thanx for any info

I like durian chips too. I usually buy a bag when I see them at various food fairs held at Fashion Island mall . But they also sell them at Tops, Foodland, Villa etc.

Many larger supermarkets stock them.

Try to look at MBK. I see several shops sell it.

MBK, from BTS skywalk go through Tokyu, walk for about 50 meters and turn left, keep on walking until Bata shoes shop,

turn right and walk again for 20-30 meters, you will find the (chinese style dried/fried fruit) shop on your left, in front of ATMs

Along the road to Pattaya i once tried to buy one of those very big bags but they wouldn't give me any discount at all.

Then i tried their neighbours and the same happened.

So i also think MBK is your best option.
