Tourist help center locations yet to be decided

PHUKET: -- Officials are still deciding on the most appropriate locations to establish 24-hour tourist help centers.

The project, which was announced in November last year, was set to have authorities pin down locations and submit them for approval by November 25.

Santi Pawai, director of the Ministry of Tourism and Sports Phuket Office, told the Phuket Gazette that progress was slow in some areas, as he is still waiting for input from all local offices before moving forward.

the centers have been setup to help "touris" understand that whatever the problem is they are having, it will not be resolved to their satisfaction.

this should help "touris" to get on with their vacation and stop wasting everyone's time.

Why do I get the feeling that wherever they put them, they will be in the wrong locations. Geez!, I have been living here too long, I need an extended break.

Can it really be that difficult or is it a case of how much money needs to change hands?

If it is a telephone helpline for Touris' - they should out source it like the UK banks to somewhere like Nigeria or Bangalore. At least they know how to spell/say tourist.

It is not possible to select the locations of help centres untill I find out the locations my clan hold the chanotes for.......said nobody, not me.

I do not like this post.
