If you'd actually read the article, you might have noticed that the 1300-1400 cases have absolutely nothing to do with people being "sent home at the Consulate's Expense". asanee Posted October 16, 2006 Share Posted October 16, 2006 for the normal west-euro countries; ALL will first ask about travel-insurance. even if ALL other means are exhausted (they WILL contact your family to cough up!] then they give out a LOAN which is equal to a tax- and thus will involve same measures as tax-evasion if not paid back in time. again this shows that going out without normal/basic travelinsurance to cover this is well, uh, not the smartest of thinsg to do Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
