January 8, 201610 yr Hello, I want to go to the most "authentic" muay thai matches in the city of Chiang Mai. My only other exposure was the Lumphini Stadium's last night of existence, and I found it really interesting. I am pretty certain the Night Bazaar venue is not what I'm looking for - seems very tourist-oriented, sourrounded by bars, etc. I am hoping the place would be of mostly local interest, and have live music (shawms/reed pipes, drums, cymbals) and chanting spectators like at Lumphini! Thanks for your suggestions.
January 8, 201610 yr Kawila Stadium, though fights are now not so regular. Facebook page suggests 12th February for a 100,000B fight. Also a stadium in Santitham, but I don't know the details. Lots of Thai vs Foreigner fights going on there,

Lots of Thai vs Foreigner fights going on there, There is a Muay Thai stadium next to the Tops in Santitham but I think it is a tourist show for the Chinese as it is next to the Ladyboy theatre that the Chinese tourists like visiting
