More snake identification

The dog got this critter this morning. At first I thought it was a rat snake, but then I noticed the marking on the head which I haven't seen before. About 1-1.5 metres long. Any ideas anyone?

That`s a load of old cobras, it`s a Copperhead racer. Harmless, does not have fangs and feeds heavily on rats and rodents.

Shame it had to die.

True- but it's a dog eat snake/cat/rat/chicken/massive lizard world in my garden.
