Took the SRT train 14 special express from Chiang Mai to Bangkok, second class lower bunk sleeper with AC for 881b. Train departed CM at 17:00 arrived on the outskirts of Bangkok at about 05:10am, and at Hualamphong at 06:20 am. It stopped about 10 times when in Bangkok. To make the seat into a bed, a 1"cushion was provide, wrapped in a bed sheet, and one thin blanket, one pillow, a curtain goes around the bunk. The cars seem to be old Japanese cars.

The washroom sinks were filthy haven't been cleaned since the train arrived in Thailand 10 years ago.
