NRSA’s public administration committee proposes ideas for new charter
NNT News

BANGKOK, 14 January 2015 (NNT) - A committee under the National Reform Steering Assembly has proposed ideas related to their work on the new charter.

Chairman of the NRSA committee on government and public administration, Pol. Maj. Gen. Yongyuth Sarasombat and his team on Wednesday presented their ideas which they believe should be included in the draft Constitution.

Pol. Maj. Gen. Yongyuth said that the committee would like the charter drafters to incorporate national strategies in the new charter, while making it official that every government work in accordance with all corresponding policies which should be divided into central, regional and local administration systems.

He added that the new charter should include the issues of city planning and space utilization in the Constitution, while making both indicators of the physical development of the country in a sustainable fashion.

In addition, the committee suggested the drafting of both a fiscal budget law and an additional budget law as well as disclosure of the details of both revenue collection and budget disbursement, and other related information.

Lastly, the committee urged the promotion of public participation in government and public administration, as well as in all processes related to public policies.

new old charter: Put up, shut up or face death by misadventure....

Why not throw the whole Organic set of Laws into the Charter?

This charter will not be limited to 300 articles once NRSA gets its ideas into the charter.
