I have a friend coming into town and is interested in long stay (month) at the Jade House. Anyone have any experience there? I know it has new management at the bar but how about the hotel from before? Thanks

Well its more than 10 years that I stayed one night there.

That was when the German guy (Rolf) was managing the place.

So no up-to-date assessment from me.

Your friend comes alone and won't be bothered by the daytime activities on the premises?

"Gentlemen's club" is the usual circumscription.

Just read that the new manager is an Austrian guy.

No, he won't be bothered by the day time activity's. It's why he likes it there. Big improvement in the bar-b-ques and also the local talent. For a single guy it is great. Good transportation to Jomtien or Pattaya and out of the way. Just wondering about the hotel as when the new owners took over, it did not include the hotel. I understand there are some long timers staying there so just curious as to prices etc. as can not find a website for the hotel. Probably best I just take a run over there. Any input appreciated.
