chrisandsu
Just about to sell a house that's in the wife's name , the buyer is Thai and will be getting a mortgage . My question is can they release funds to a bank account that's in both mine and my wife's name ? I'm sorry if this has been asked before but can't get a straight answer from the banks concerned . Thanks
trogers
Get a cashier's cheque in your wife's name and bank it into your joint account.
MaeJoMTB
or ask them to pay cash. Millions in cash exchanged at the land office is the norm rather than the exception. The bank staff representing the buyer, at the land office, will be happy to turn up with cash.

chrisandsu
Yeah I wouldn't really want bangers and mash . My sister in law will be dealing with most of this as we won't be here so just want to get it sorted out before we leave .
