NCPO appoints new ThaiHealth VP

BANGKOK, 20 January 2016 (NNT) - The National Council for Peace and Order (NCPO) has exercised its powers under Section 44 of the interim constitution to appoint another Vice President to the Thai Health Promotion Foundation (ThaiHealth), in order to continue its important work in health care.

Deputy Prime Minister Wissanu Krea-ngarm said that ThaiHealth was unable to approve its budget after the removal of its Vice President and six board members on allegations of irregularities.

In order to allow the foundation to perform its regular functions, the NCPO has appointed Chamnan Pichedpan as Vice President of ThaiHealth. Although ThaiHealth can now seek budget approval, the foundation must quickly appoint qualified individuals to fill the vacancies left by the six board members.

Keep in mind that everytime Prayut invokes Article 44 is because no law has been violated and people's right to due process are removed.

Prayut has indeed reformed Thai justice - justice by personal fiat.

Fully expected reply, any topic you can you put the knife in--it is too repeatable .
