bark
If they need to explain about the New Charter; that's a problem. It will be like... " Everything is great about the new Charter, Trust me " Good Luck.
Srikcir
Nice about the longer voting time but what's going to prevent the Democrat leadership again encouraging and/or leading blockade of candidate registration and voter venues?
heybruce
Short explanation: This 261 page constitution is confusing and we won't let anyone but junta spokesmen explain it too you and we don't care if you reject it because that lets us stay in power longer. phoenixdoglover
I read the previous draft Charter. The new one is supposed to have fewer chapters. Even so, it would take weeks of study to actually understand the Charter. So understanding is really not possible. Instead, there should be a concerted effort to uncover: The Top Ten Most Egregious Flaws. And make sure these are well traveled on social media. heybruce
I think the previous rejected draft was longer. However 261 pages http://www.reuters.com/article/us-thailand-politics-idUSKCN0UY13E is still too long, and more than the average citizen can be expected to read and comprehend. It's safe to assume that the junta will not allow anyone to speak, print, or post any kind of analysis that isn't in the form of an endorsement, so voting for it will be an act of faith in the junta.
