October 20, 200619 yr I'm leaving the UK at the end of next week, gonna spend a week in Bangkok, then head down to the place I've rented on KPG. Now, in the past when I have been to other places there always ends up being something that's darn expensive compared to the UK and end up wishing I had bought some with me. In the past it's been things like instant coffee, shaving foam, all sorts of things. Any suggestions folks? Thanks in advance. Edited October 20, 200619 yr by mac.wheeler
October 20, 200619 yr Hi, due to the presence of tesco/lotus on Ko Samui.. I would say forget it! you get almost anything there... a pint of guiness in chaweng at tropical murphy's...unless it's somethng like yorshire pudding..there is now a ferry (lomprayah) connecting Samui to KPG via Thong Sala to Mae Nam.. even the distance to the lotus did shrink.. cheers!

So it's possible to visit Tesco on Samui from KPG? That has gotta be the oddest way of going to the supermarket ever! Handy though.
November 7, 200619 yr Author Anyone know the times for the KPG - Mae Nom and back again boats? Is Tesco a viable trip from KPG? Thanks in advance.
