Genericnic
Hi all. I'm looking for a high quality tire pressure gage to use on my motorcycle. What I would love to have is one like the Accutire MS 4021B Standard Digital Tire Gauge though I really doubt being able to find it here. Any suggestions would be appreciated. jackcorbett
http://www.topeak.com/products/pumps/joeblowsport I think this is the ideal solution. I bought my pump at a high end bicycle shop in the U.S. before moving to Thailand. Cost me around forty bucks but I even use it to fill up the tires on my Honda Civic and I use it weekly to check the tires on three motorbikes and to air up the tires. Saves me a trip that's out of my way. People at my condo are constantly borrowing it from me, and believe me, I make sure they return it immediately after they use it because it might be difficult to find a good replacement for this gem. KhunBENQ
? The OP is looking for a digital pressure gauge. I didn't find the slightest trace of this Accutire product in Thailand. I have seen other digital gauges at different locations (Amorn, Robinson at Central Pattaya). No idea what the quality is. Lots around: https://www.google.co.th/search?biw=1173&bih=814&tbm=isch&sa=1&q=%E0%B8%A7%E0%B8%B1%E0%B8%94%E0%B8%A5%E0%B8%A1%E0%B8%A2%E0%B8%B2%E0%B8%87+%E0%B8%94%E0%B8%B4%E0%B8%88%E0%B8%B4%E0%B8%95%E0%B8%AD%E0%B8%A5+&oq=%E0%B8%A7%E0%B8%B1%E0%B8%94%E0%B8%A5%E0%B8%A1%E0%B8%A2%E0%B8%B2%E0%B8%87+%E0%B8%94%E0%B8%B4%E0%B8%88%E0%B8%B4%E0%B8%95%E0%B8%AD%E0%B8%A5+&gs_l=img.12...27538.44014.0.45197.2.2.0.0.0.0.92.173.2.2.0....0...1.1.64.img..0.1.91.-SU3sQGSogw Which region do you live? KhruGin
Not sure if these are about in Thailand ...around the 500 baht mark in UK. RACE X RX0014 tyre pressure guage. Well accurate, not digital but honestly it doesnt have to be. Great write ups about it and voted best guage 2015 by a leading Uk car magazine ...go goggle or google it. KhunBENQ
Yes, many such instruments available. My Mazda workshop uses analog instruments too. I hesitated to question the need for digital. Up to the OP. Browse through the usual suspect (Lazada), price high to low: http://www.lazada.co.th/catalog/?sort=pricedesc&dir=desc&q=tyre+pressure+gauge Edited February 9, 2016 by KhunBENQ

Such is the joy of getting older. Thanks for Lazada too. I had completely forgotten about it. David

David David, Any decent pressure gauge will do. You simply have to check it against something known. Digital describes the display, It doesn't necessarily mean it is more accurate. Although as the years progress they are easier to read The quality of the adapter that fits the tire is also important. Unsure ? The old fashioned pencil gauge ones are OK. KhunBENQ
Unsure ? The old fashioned pencil gauge ones are OK. I did not want to come forward I have one of those. Under 100 Baht. Compared it with the (few working) filling points at PTT stations. No relevant difference (+/- 1 psi). Use a color pen to mark your preferred pressure and you have good readability.
