Possible to swap tourist visa to Non Inmigrant at Inmigration Bangkok?

I am currently on extension of tourist visa(ending in 10 days) and I will have to apply for a Non Inmigrant for a new job.

My cuestion is if there is a way that I can swap it without applying outside Thailand and do it at Inmigration in BKK.

You need 15 days remaining on your entry or the extension of it to do a change of visa status to get a 90 day non immigrant visa entry.

The requirements to do the change includes a work permit application approval letter from the Labor Ministry. Plus the other requirements are more stringent than those need needed to apply for an extension based upon working.
