temporary extension of Non-Imm B visa

Featured Replies

Greetings dear all

I have work permit valid for one year and I got 90 days visa B, and started my job as an engineer since almost 3 months ago. My visa will expire on Feb 23 but my company has problem with regard to Tax documents and they cant finish it before end of march. I wanna know how can I extend my visa temporarily to the end of march and then after preparation of Tax documents I apply for 1 year visa. Have you ever faced such cases ? Pleas advise me.

thanks

You can only apply for a one year extension with a work permit and all the required documents.

Your only choice is to go out for another single entry non-b visa.

Why not multiple if he has the WP?

Why not multiple if he has the WP?

He might be able to get one but it would not be needed. Plus it is possible the same tax documents might be needed for the multiple entry visa.

What is the problem with the tax documents?

If it's that the annual accounts are not yet ready, then the OP can show last year's accounts plus PND 52 mid year returns/receipt along with all the usual papers in support of a one year multiple entry non immigrant 'b' visa at Penang.

Unless the company was a newly formed one i guess.
