English breakfast Kanchanaburi

backtofront

Recommended Posts

I googled English breakfast Kanchanaburi. So armed with a Bangkok Post, I marched into

Srifa Bakery, which is one of the best places in town for real coffee

and in my best English enquired about caffe. Needless to say to say I ended up at Mangosteen and will try again on my next trip to town.

Any recommendations? Bacon, egg, toast and strong coffee? Marmalade and a real newspaper if possible?

Sorry backtofront missed your second posting,,, same same, robs bar and "one more bar" are one and the same... Turning left into the road before or after passing the entrance to the war cemetery, turn next right and head along that road going in the direction of the war museum, if I remember you'll see either a family mart or a mini tesco lotus on the left, robs bar is just across from it

Rob is still at one more bar, decent breakfast and other food.

Also, back towards the Cemetery,on the right hand side, about 50 yards is the Crowds nest. Its next too the Aussie rules bar, again decent English.

Don't know if any of the hotels that offer an English breakfast
