R There Now 90 Days Tourist Visas And How Much Do They Cost?

Featured Replies

I read here that now you can get a single Tourist visa that will last for 90 days instead of the prev 60 days. but then in some other post they say the visa is valid for 90 days as it always has been, and that it is still only good for 60 days stay. Can someone please clarify this and also how much the single entry visa (60 or 90 days) cost. thanks

I hope so.

I'll be heading down to the local Immigration Office (Jomtien) in the morning to apply for 30-day extensions on my visa, and my Filipino GFs. We've been here since February.

Wish me luck.

Let’s put it this way:

1. A single-entry tourist visa is usually valid for travel to Thailand within 90 days from the date of issue.

2. Upon arrival in Thailand with a tourist visa, you will usually receive permission to stay for 60 days.

3. After having entered Thailand on the basis of a tourist visa, you may apply at any immigration office for an extension of permission to stay. Fee: 1,900 Baht. Approval is at the discretion of the immigration office, depending on your needs, and is usually for a maximum of 30 days.
