OAG insists it has done a good job in probing Ratchapakdi park project

BANGKOK: -- The Office of the Auditor-General has defended that it has done its job completely regarding the investigation into to the Ratchapakdi park project regarding the 20 million baht in donations to the Ratchapakdi Foundation.

Auditor-General Phisit Leelawachiropas said today (Thursday) that he was ready to present the investigating report to Justice Minister Paiboon Kumchaya. He added that his office was willing to investigate if the minister has doubt about any points or issues.

Mr Phisit’s remarks today were in response to Justice Minister Paiboon’s statement on Wednesday that he would not accept the OAG’s findings because there are still a few points which are yet to be cleared up.

The OAG chief insisted that the OAG had thoroughly investigated the case and “everything was based on facts”.

He said that the OAG investigators had examined the relevant evidences of the private sector, the foundries responsible for the casting of the giant statues of the former Thai kings and their account books in accordance with the state auditing procedure.

The OAG’s position is to investigate and to report the truth to the public, he insisted.

Well of course you would not find any problems, as the whole process followed "in accordance with state auditing procedure."

If all he says is true, then make everything transparent and allow the public to view the numbers. Not many are going to believe that the auditor would dare slam the military or current gov of they found discrepancies. Maybe this is why it is all being questioned. No one will know for sure because everyone who tried to do an independent check was arrested, detained, or taken to happy camp for attitude adjustment or, for at least 1 of the 3 or all.

Of course they did a good job, theu sealed the deal of the cover up. Probably didn't get anything out of it either.

The report does not say there were no problems, just that the investigation was thorough.

Yes, great job, and only the sheeple will believe that there was nothing amiss to find.

Is the mysterious amulet trader whose identity is well known by the media/google and his family going to reappear with the missing senior military figures since there is nothing amiss even though the man in charge admitted to the coruption in a press conference.

Good man. He investigated the "private sector", at a guess the source for donations, and the foundries, and...wonder what's missing, hmm....how about the military personnel administering the project?

I would guess the "numbers" have all long since

been "adjusted" to suit any investigation.

Well, they would hardly claim anything else, would they?

Yeah boys you did a splendid job. A splendid job of covering it up.

They must have learned it from their counterparts in malaysia......cheesy.gif

"good job"

in this case means....

delivering the right answer....

Even ante-dated probably...
