Bangkok - Khorat (Nakhon Ratchasima) by plane

Featured Replies

Hello, just wondering is someone knows if there is any flights between Bangkok and Khorat (either from Don Muang or Suvanarbuni)? Thanks

Used to be but, (as far as I know), not anymore.

There's little point when it's (less than) a 3 hour drive?

Compared with, 1 hour to airport, 1 hour before departure, 1 hour flight and the airport is north of the city so you'll always get there quicker by driving.

Thanks for quick feedback.

Yes I understand that due to short distance.

This is actually for my wife who is coming from Phuket and were wondering if there would be a way to fly from Phuket to Bangkok then get another flight to Korat. We use to just drive from Phuket to Korat when we are both of us but this time she will go alone. She will fly to Bangkok and then rent a car at the airport then.

Thanks

No commercial scheduled flights back as long my memory serves me.

I remember some Asian Games many years ago when there were frequent flights for the participants and VIPs.

Tons of buses running along this busy route.

Korat is in the middle of nowhere when it comes to flights.

There were Kan Air flights running up to CM for a short period of time last year, but no longer.
