EDU Visa change to marriage visa

Hi Guys,

simple question: I am currently on a EDU visa 2nd year. Is it possible to apply inside Thailand for a 1 year marriage visa or do i have to leave the country in any case to apply for a non-immigrant O outside Thailand?

You have to leave. You are in the same situation I was. I went to Laos with all the right paperwork...

You will get a one year extension of stay based upon marriage at immigration not a visa.

You will likely need to go out for a single entry non-o visa in order to apply for the extension. Immigration will likely not allow you to change your extension for attending school to marriage.
