Gulf of Mexico energy victim identified; investigation ongoing

A Nabors Industries offshore worker killed on the job last week in the Gulf of Mexico was identified Tuesday as Roy Miller, of Mississippi.

Houston-based Whistler Energy II contracted Nabors for a Gulf drilling project. The fatal injury took place on a Nabors platform rig during maintenance activities for Whistler, according to the federal Bureau of Safety and Environmental Enforcement
