Married to a Thai , revisting in the next few months, after being in the uk, due to health issue.

I have been back a few times, on the 30 day entry, but this time want to stay a liitle longer, is it still possible to extend 60 days, due to my marrige, (4 years now).

I am a UK male aged 55 years. dont wish to use the non imigrant o route which i have done before,or multi / single entry tourist visa. as some of the application requirments, required now i cant supply.

Just after a little bit of extra time up to 60 days, recovery after further heart surgery.

Will be using Immigration at Amanat Charoen, Also i am assumimg it the 1,900 THB fee, and copies of certificates, id passports ect.

Thanks

You can apply, once, for a 60 day extension of stay to visit your wife

You could get a Single entry (90 day) "O" visa , based on marriage , from the UK and extend that for 60 days if you wish for a longer stay.

All you need to apply for the non-o based upon marriage is your marriage certificate and copies of you wife's ID card an house book registery. No financials are required.

is the Non o visa only for those who are married to thai lady ?

or is it possible for single gent to get one wishing to eventually retire ?

can this be obtained at Embassy in UK?

Married only ! You could try asking the Thai Hon. Consulates but be prepared for disappointment.

If you are old enough to be in receipt of the State old age pension you could get a 12 month multi entry "O" visa from the London Thai Embassy

Not unless you are 65 or over and getting a old age pension.

One of the conulates might do one if you show financial proof.

Note that if you fly without a visa the airline might not let you board unless you have an onward flight, to anywhere, booked within 30 days. So if you are staying longer than 30 days you might want to consider at least a Tourist Visa (SETV). That would give you 60 days that could be extended by 30 (tourism) or 60 (visit your wife) days.
