Where have all the Thai workers gone ?

Featured Replies

Just had some time to my self and went around Bangkok for a week and was really surprised that there is not many Thai workers. A lot of assistants in restaurants,

shops and street vendors and maids are now all Burmese. Our soi the ice delivery is a Burmese run business, the fruit carts are the same and in the local market half of the stalls are not Thai anymore. Today walked in to a Subway and had all Burmese staff.

My wife was recently watching a program where they are concerned that foreigners from neighbouring countries will over take the many career of Thais.

Thais want money for nothing, the Burmese used to work well but are getting to be the same Ive found.

give you one guess it begins with idle /lazy and in resort areas easier ways to make money no guesses to what that may involve
