There has been rumors lately that tourist can no longer change their visas to non b anymore. My friend from Kenya also gave me this information last night and i want to know if there is any truth to this. Please give me any knowledge you have regarding this question. thanks

Sounds like a rumour.

A conversion could be done in Bangkok with all the correct paperwork supplied by a prospective employer.

    Immigration as far as know have not changed the rules about being able to do a change of visa status to obtain a non immigrant visa entry based upon working.

    Whether you can apply for it or not depends upon where you are located and whether you and your employer can supply all the required documents to do the change.
