franna
Just saw 2 J.R. puppies today in a pet shop and I did realy like them Need some help from members who have/had such a dog: Easy trainable? Personality? How do they behave with other dogs in the family? Thanks, Gerd Hi Gerd We have a 6 year old short leg bitch. Very loveable, full of energy(needs lots of exercise), loyal, easy trainable. Just watch out for your garden or any loose items in and around the house if you do not exercise them regurlarly. They are also protective towards the owner. I trust that other dogs are in great shape to keep up the pace with this bunch of live wire. Buy them you will not regret but do the training or you will bear the consequences. Enjoy Frans
sbk
Jack Russell's, I understand, can be quite aggressive with other dogs, so be sure you completely socialize the puppy with the your other dogs. See the Jack Russell website here for more info But boy they are cute little bundles of energy. I've always wanted one

turnpike
does anyone know of breeders in the khon kaen area? i'm about 2 months away from finishing walling my property (6 rai), and once i "train" the locals to close the gate behind them, i intend to buy one. 6 rai should give him/her room to run (i would hope). i don't know too much about them but i know they have energy to burn. macb
Jack Russels: I had a bitch many years ago what a loyal family dog. Good house dogs . As said before introduce them to your other dogs if you have any and your children they are characters. If I can pass on 19yrs of experience training and handling working dogs. There is a large spectrum within this from Obedience to searching tracking chasing biting Stand offs and a lot more then feel free to ask. Also local dog trials and judging. Feel free to ask macb Edited October 31, 2006 by macb
