most secure way to sent documents from Thailand to UK

Featured Replies

Hello.
Can anyone please tell me the most secure way that important documents can be sent from Thailand to the uk
Worried that once they leave thailand they can't be traced...Thank you

The Thai EMS service seems OK and you can track the consignment through to its destination.

A rather more costly option is to use DHL, Possibly more secure than EMS as it avoids the Thai postal system altogether so maybe better for anything that's irreplaceable.

I've used both - no problems with either.

Thai Post EMS costs 1,000 baht per envelope recorded delivery.

I used EMS tracked and signed for - picked up in the UK by Royal Mail and delivered - no problems. Likewise for return UK to Thailand, Royal Mail tracked and signed for delivered by EMS no problem.

I did put on the envelopes "DOCUMENTS ONLY" to discourage opportunists.

The most secure its to send a personal courier on a plane. The most sendible is to use DHL or FedEx. DHL costs just over 1,000 baht for a standard document evelope that they supply.

Trackable every step of the way.

Agree that DHL is one of the most secure ways to send documents. Can track the document on line from departure to delivery. And can also get on line delivery signature acknowledgment. I have used DHL many times and apart from one occasion when my document was mis routed causing a day delay in arrival, every time I have used them they have never lost anything.

The OP did not state where he lives.

DHL is not represented well in all parts of Thailand.
