sqapg5
Hi all, Currently new into keeping song birds. In singapore we call it the "Matah Puteh" or maybe the "oriental white eye" Its a green bird with the white ring round the eyes. I will be travelling to Hat Yai in a week, therefore need some help from all brothers and sisters out there. Anyone here knows if there is a bird shop in Hat Yai. or maybe a shop selling bird cages. Would love to get my hands on some of the bird cages.

MiG16
Im not sure about where there maybe in HatYai (but should be some), but failing that, if you are travelling to Hatyai, try half an hour out of Hatyai to a small town called Chana. they specialise in making bird cages there. you will find lots of shops there, and its not all that far from hatyai. udon
Save & print this pic and show it around the town if you can't find Mig's suggestion. Chana sounds like a good idea/place..... I know nothing about Hat Yai or bamboo cages.
Riley'sLife
Chana is good place but if it's too far for you there are loads for sale in the streets around the Clock Tower Market in HY. Also, a shop worth a visit (sells stuff from Chana) is a short stroll from the Clock Tower heading north to the fountain roundabout on Phetkasem Road, take the second exit -Niphat Songkrao 1 Road. This road goes to HY hospital and the Jiranakorn Stadium. About 100metres after the first set of traffic lights (the intersection has HY hospital on the left and HY Post office on the right) there is a small shop on the left that has some really different ones. Saw it today. You can't miss it as the cages are hanging up in full view. To walk from the Clock Tower takes about 15mins, or just take a songtaew to the Post Office and walk from there (100metres). Good hunting. Enjoy your time in HY. Cheers Rick
