Thaidream
Safety costs money and the owners of boats, buses; he BTS etc are greedy. they don't care about the customer or their employees. Until the government or courts come down really hard and make them pay hard cash they will not change.

gandalf12
The sentiment is right but unfortunately the PM is only one man. Like the PM's of other countries or Presidents if the rest of the people in power dont give 100% support, not just in words, then nothing will happen. geisha
A complete review of all transport means in Thailand is needed. This is becoming ridiculous, horrific daily accidents around the country. Is it too hard/ difficult for a normal government to bring in laws? Can they not fine, prosecute ? Obviously not, so Thailand has become a lawless country! elgordo38
It's good to see yet another pronouncement from the junta. Now all we need is some - any - independent evidence to see that they actually work. BTW, I wonder what the budget is for this latest public spirited initiative? They will play the time game in time all will blow over. Budget for this latest public spirited initiative? Now your talking money and here is where things hit a stone wall.
