Any Nice Places With Wireless Access?

Featured Replies

Getting a bit bored with working at home and thought I might take my laptop and work in another setting.

Anyone have a nice spot in mind?

Could you also let me know the cost if you know it (like in a restaurant/cafe if you need to spend X baht per hour on food or whatnot)?

Cheers

Perhaps the lobby or the restaurant (1st floor) at the Empress hotel on Chan Klang rd. I typed perhaps because I'm not so sure the 1st floor has wireless Access.

There are a lot of Coffe Shops with wireless lan.

I like Mo's Coffee at Huaw Kaew Road in front of CMU. It's very relaxing there.

I think this is a great thread. Lets all contribute to it and get a good guide to wireless access in CM.

Here's my pennies worth.

Queen Vic pub has free wireless - and fantastic Sunday lunch!

I like Buddy Cafe (upstairs of Buddy Internet on Huey Kaew). There are stations and tables available... as well as drinks. Internet price is same as downstairs. (Forget what it is at the moment - 20B??)

The Library Cafe next to the Writers Club on Ratchadamnern (Sunday Walkng Street) has wi-fi and is a pleasant spot.

Most Internet cafees have wifi, nowadays - at least the up-to-date ones. Some can be quite comfy and some have assorted coffees and other drinks that can match that of a dedicated coffeee-shop. My personal favorite is the one on Ratchapakinai, on the stretch between Ratchadamnoen and Ratchamanka
