House Maid

Featured Replies

Whats the right kinda price.House maid to live in.Just cleaning and stuff. No need to cook or babysit, just basically to ensure the place is always clean & tidy.

:o EPG.

I have a maid comes in two times a week, cleans all over. To be honest gets the place a lot better than i ever could.

One of the days I take my bedding off and put the new bedding near the bed. She puts this on hte bed as well. (this is a job i hate which is why i mention it)

Empy's my wahing machine hanging up all the wet cloths (i always do a full load the night before she arrives)

I pay 300bht each time the lady comes.

Very happy so far, had no problems or missunderstandings.

I can dig out the telephone number and email address if you require.

Tell me more.I pay that for coming once a week.

She was the wife of our handyman, & suggested by my landlady.

I always paid her for public hols, which surprised her.. She didn't speak a word of English.

A good worker, Maybe she had an arvo job too.

There are loads of Thai women looking for part-time work, ask around, no need to advertise.

Make sure she can peel and present a Pomelo..... a good test! :o

Where are you getting your maid from, Soi 7 or 8, I mean you pay 1000 for coming once a week :o,

One of our neighbours has a full time live in maid that works 6 days per week and he pays her 4000 baht per month. If they live out it is usually an extra 2000 per month.

The rates also depend upon the skill levels of the maid. If they drive the kids to school ,can cook western food etc. they are more highly paid.

Some that employ alien workers or thais without ID cards pay even less.

our live-in housemaid is paid 6.500 baht/month but enjoys the luxury of a full-fledged airconditioned apartment, own satellite TV, is allowed to consume when and whatever food/drinks she wants, one day off per week, on duty 12 hours a day but actual working hours not more than 6 per day. as the home is rather big we use a professional service company for a thorough cleaning once a week.
