Curious if anyone on this forum is using an airbag system. I see there is a Hit-Air distributor in Bangkok. Not sure about Helite or Alpine Star's Tech Air. Given how dangerous Thailand's roads are I am certainly considering purchasing one.

I looked at a jacket many moons ago at Red Baron. I thought the tether would end up with me walking away from the bike and...

Ive seen them at a shop in Pantip Plaza Chiang Mai, idea looks fine but as Vocal Neal says... you gotta remember to unclip the tether when getting off the bike.  Cant remember the price sorry.

One issue with these airbag systems is the fact they completely block airflow (due to the nature and location of the inflatable material)- they make for an extremely hot ride in Thailand’s climate as they don’t breathe much- for a 45-minute track session it’s not a big deal, but it’s different on a long ride or commute in slow-moving traffic in direct sun.
