I've just returned to Thailand from a trip abroad, on the same non-immigrant B visa I've had for several years (extended annually) and noticed that this time when I cleared immigration the office stamped the phrase 'NON-RE" in big letters over the entry stamp. I've never seen this before. Anyone know what it means?

I would guess non immigrat visa class with re entry permit?

Yes, correct. Some officers write/stamp NON-RE, some does not.
