KANCHANABURI: -- Two Myanmar workers died and eight others seriously injured when a pickup truck they were travelling went off the road and overturned early Friday morning.

The workers were on the way from Kanchanaburi town to Srisawat district when the vehicles crashed into roadside bushes and overturned.

Of the two workers killed, one was a man, and another a woman.

Highway rescuers said they had to spend almost an hour to help the migrant workers trapped inside the badly damaged truck out and admitted to Kanchanaburi hospital.

It was not immediately known who was the driver as all injured were in serious conditions.

Where does it say the driver was Thai? The report here says they don't know who the driver was, and there is no mention of a Thai. What report did you read?

So sorry. Incorrect to assume. Although the driver was very probably Thai. Given that 99.999% of people driving in Thailand are Thai.

"Because of some idiot driver".

Happy now?
