Legalised document at MFA - Can I send from abroad?

Hey everyone,

I need my marriage certificate to be legalised at the MFA in Bangkok but me and my wife are not in Thailand.

Does anyone know if it's possible to send our marriage certificate to the MFA to get the legalization stamp and the have it sent back to us? Obviously we would include a pre paid envelope for and overseas delivery etc.

Failing that, could I get a friend to take it in for me, if he had a letter of consent from me?

I will ask my wife to call in the morning but if anyone has done this before it will enable me to sleep tonight and stop worrying about it :-/
